I agree with Jean the Gem. There aren't any instructions for this item and it shouldn't be difficult to use but there are plastic pieces that prevent the punch from working and I have no idea how to remove them without possibly breaking something. I will have to return. So maddening.
I do a lot of genealogy and I print a lot of reports to file in 3 ring binders. I use a lot of paper so that means a lot of hole punching. I have arthritis in my hands so hole punching is not something I look forward to. I accidentally walked past the hole punchers in Staples one day and stopped to check them out and found this one looked sturdy easy to use and punched enough sheets at one time to convince me to buy it. I love it!
I had to return to the store twice to have parts removed that kept hole-punch from activating. There were no instructions included as to how to achieve that. Once they were removed the hole-punch worked like a charm.
This definitely does not punch holes for up to 15 pages at a time. I would agree with the other reviews that at most you can probably hole punch 6-7 pages at a time. Other than that it does what it's supposed to.
