I had difficulty feeding 5 sheets of paper under the punch; had some trouble with one punch catching and not releasing so I could remove paper after punching holes. It works smoothly as far as punching the holes.

The center hole punch would not release on the first one I brought home. Returned and got another but on the second one of the posts would not punch through even a few sheets. Returned that one as well.

I needed a puncher that would make different depth holes and either further up or down.

it did not meet my needs. I needed to be able to move the holes deeper and further up or down on the edge.

This product is well-made sturdy and reasonably priced. Our family uses it daily for school and important business projects. It will not disappoint. Very reliable and easy to dispose of paper shavings. Highly recommend!

I was looking for an Electric Hole Punch which Staples did not have. Don't like this one it works just as bad as the cheapest one.
