While I’ve owned many a hole-puncher in my lifetime the Staples punch has a sleek handle capable of quickly compressing a neat array of holes through a dozen sheets of paper. Sheets fit perfectly into my loose leaf binders after the Staples punch does its job.
Thus 3-hole punch is easy to use and works well. I am very happy with this purchase. There were several more expensive models but this one is perfect. Glad I chose it. Completely recommend it.
I saw 15 sheet capacity and thought that it would be great as a portable solution. It works fine except that if any part of the edges of the paper bundle you are trying to hole punch the paper just won't go in fully leaving you with shallow holes or holes on the edge of the papers. Frustrating at best. I learned to really tap the paper bundle on a tabletop to ensure everything is aligned and then I place them into the hole punch in an upside-down position which allowed me to see more clearly if the paper bundle was going in fully. I guess I would humbly recommend buying the next one up and take some paper in with you and try the different models. I feel like I wasted my money but my technique works adequately for my very occasional use. Standing on one foot and singing an Irish tune helps. PS... It wouldn't let me score it any lower than 5 stars which isn't cool. I would give it 2 stars.
