What happened to quality?

I bought this book for our log for this year was very disappointed . . . when it was next to last years log . . . also bought at Staples last years was sturdier . . . the cover was more substantial and it feels even after a year of daily use to have more durabillity than the new one for which we paid the same amount.

Great book for notes

I use this primarily for business but also personal notes. The book is tough and will last. (I tried a cheaper book from B&N and it is falling apart.) I think I am on my third one. The only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars is the price.

Expensive but worth it

I have used this style of record book as my business diary and chronological note book for years. I have been using the Stables brand for the last two books. I find them to be rugged and durable which is needed for a book that I use all day every day. I have used my current book for from March 2013 through July 2014. It is still (almost) as good as new. I also have an after-market enhancement I make for my books. I buy 24" of narrow ribbon from the fabric store. I thread this through the spine and glue 10" in place with 14" hanging to create my own built in permanent book mark. The size of this book is perfect for that.
