I needed a large number of labels so I decided to try the 2000/box of address labels by Staples that were comparable to Avery 8161 labels. They worked great!~ Definitely economical and did the job perfectly. Labels were a little thinner than others but still worked fine. (I just slowed down a little on placing the label so as not to tear it. Very little additional time was needed verses a much larger expense. I was very pleased with them and will be purchasing again. *note I did not have any issues with smearing as noted in another review.

The Staples brand of labels are just as good as the brand name Avery. You save money and still get the same quality.

We purchase several different sizes of the Staples labels. They are much cheaper in price than the Avery brand and work just as well. When available we purchase the larger boxes. There has never been an issue with them getting old and not sticking.

I've used other store brand labels and have come away with paper jams and sticky stuff in my printer. These labels are great nothing ever jammed or got stuck.
