We are a Nursing Home and as you know we have some turnover. So these are inexpensive to be needing new ones all the time. When they get dropped in the water toilet and anything else that can need a new one these are great. The slots that a clip goes through does rip. That could be made stronger.

Product size is misleading

The size listed in the product description is the entire produce size (including the portion for the clasp/hook/lanyard) not the size of the slot size for the badge or id to fit in. Actual size for the badge on this product is just wide enough for a business card. Height is plenty tall for a business card with an additional 3/8" to spare. The product does have a slight yellow tint and has a tacky "Staples" logo stamped into one side. While this appears to be a quality product due to the sizing issue I must return them. Id-badges worked great for our students. They are strong enough to last through the student enrollment period. In addition they where a great fit for our Assure Program and printer. I do not have any students requested replacements with in the 1-2 year time they are here. The price is right and shipping is fast.

Clear But Not Clear

Although can the contents can be read through the badge holder there is a yellow tone to the material and thery are not as clear as the online picture appears. In addition "Staples" is stamped into the badge holder. Although the badge holder can be worn with this stamped side in the back not everyone will make the distinction or some might wear it in reverse in error.

The plastic is too heavy and bulky and there was a film all over them. Prefer lighter weight and thinner plastic. Also found these to be smaller than other standard name badge holders.
