Just try to open the roll!

I'm an elderly gentleman and struggled with trying to open the tape. Called up my neighbor and he struggled as well. I'll never buy it again and tossed in in the garbage!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

tape is to thick, and does not stick as well as the thinner one

User friendly dispenser

I frequently ship packages both at home and in the office. This combo of packing tape and a dispenser make it easy to ship our packages. The tape itself is extremely strong and I don’t have to worry about it breaking in transit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Defective dispenser

Purchased last night and when I got it home, discovered there was no metal cutting strip. I needed to ship a package, so I used the tape anyway, cutting it off with scissors.

Frustrating Roll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tape but hard to start roll and the dispenser is pretty much worthless. I would purchase the tape again but the only redeeming quality of the dispenser is the blade to cut tape. It’s hard to use and constantly had to try to find end of roll for another piece of tape.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't stick!

I bought this several weeks ago so I don't have the receipt anymore, but after first use found that this tape doesn't stick AT ALL. Totally dry! All that is on the dispenser is a long strip of plastic with no glue! What the heck? Would like my money back.

Package Tape - Good For More Than Just Shipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Package Tape is not only good for sealing shipping containers it is also good for repairing packing boxes that are used for storing household goods or craft supplies. I use a lot of card stock in my crafting. The larger remnants are kept in cardboard boxes. Tonight I repaired two such boxes with this tape because the tape is strong enough to reinforce the weak and torn places.
The reason I deducted a star from my rating is that the tape will sometimes tear where that tear is not wanted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good multipurpose tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Heavy Duty tape to tape up some boxes while helping someone move. It feels like good quality tape, so I felt confident that I wouldn't need to use a lot of it to make a good seal. It's nice, thick tape and it doesn't fold in on itself, so I like that. The dispenser rattles around a lot (not sure if that's normal), but the roll hasn't come out of it, even when it's been tossed around. Even though the sides of the roll don't feel sticky now, they attracted dust and debris, so that's not something I like to see, but I'm guessing it's unavoidable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
