Safety in Mailing Packages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best tape I have ever used for packaging items to mail. I have used it on boxes going by UPS, Fed-X, and Postal. I have never had any damage to anything I have shipped. I also use the tape for storage boxes and it lasts so long and doesn't dry out like some tape. I have even used it to close plastic bags sent to me from catalog companies when I return items. Nothing has ever gotten lost and items have always arrived in excellent condition. Just can't get better packaging tape than SCOTT!

Ridiculous to use

Tape is pure crap

I purchased this tape to ship Christmas packages after years of satisfactory use of Scotch products. Don’t know what Has changed but this is pure crap. It doesn’t stick to anything, even it’s own dry side. That failure is a sure sign of America’s decline.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No way to start it

There doesn't seem to be a way to get the tape off the spool. I finally had to cut it with a knife in order to get a leader that would pull it off the roll.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dispenser does not work, lacks insttructions

Hard to say if the tape is any good, since I can't figure out how to fed the tape into the cutting edge. Apparently this is an issue with many users! And thre are no helpful hints on the package or the web site!!

Better off using scotch tape

I bought 5 rolls of packing tape. Wheres the adhesive? The only thing it sticks to is other parts of the tape.

Packing Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when we moved and i loved it.It held the boxes together and was easy for my younger children to use ages 10 and 8.It was perfect size to seal each box and stayed smooth after it was put on the box.I had many heavy boxes and never had a problem using this tape.i hope we are not moving anytime soon,i recommended this to my Mother N law since she is moving and she has LOTS of Antiques and she is using this as well and is really pleased with it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this brand for the last two years and have found it consistently excellent for all adhesive applications, including packaging, mailing, household general use, outdoor use, gardening applications, industrial applications and also as a hold-fast tape for odds and ends around my home. I personally use it often while scrap booking too and strongly recommend it to all quality conscious people. I feel its use once will more than satisfy the user and bond him/her as a lifelong user.
