I'm painting a vintage camper and before I'm even finished taping it is already pulling away from the seam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst tape there is

Stay away from this stuff, bleeds through and takes old paint off of surfaces. How much worse can it get! JUNK!

Pulled paint off with tape

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed today when I removed the tape and paint too. I painted a wall and waited 4 days before taping it off to paint adjoining wall a different color. I waited 24 hours after completing the painting to remove the tape. Very DISAPPOINTED
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tape sucks! NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!!

This tape does NOT work at all! We followed all instructions. We taped crown molding before painting a ceiling. After taking the tape off, paint literally bled through nearly EVERY inch of the crown molding....AND WE CAN'T GET IT OFF!!! It's so bad, we are considering ditching our crown molding! It is AWFUL! We would have been better off edging without it! Good thing I now have 2 1/2 rolls of useless blue tape! We DO NOT RECOMMEND this product and will NOT be using it again!

Utter failure.

I think a lot. I usually use a more expensive brand (there’s only one - you could probably figure it out), but since I was doing such a huge area I thought I would try Scotch Blue. Not a great decision given I was painting baseboards on my newly refinished hardwood floors - paint seat under the edge of the tape despite the fact that I applied it appropriately. Should have spent the money for the green tape.

Upsetting results

I tried this product for the first time and I’m very disappointed with the results. The adhesive was too strong, it peeled off the ceiling paint it was meant to protect. I had used the green tape on the same ceiling to use up what I had and had no issues. Every spot I continued on with the scotch blue ended up with damaged ceiling paint. Not only that it was difficult to remove as it kept ripping.

Will not stick

I have been using 3M painter's tape for decades and have never had much of an issue. I have a roll now that refuses to stick to anything. I spend an hour taping a room and come back 30 minutes to pain and half the tape is hanging loose. Did they change the manufacturing process or glue? I have used this roll in different locations with different types of paint and it sucks. It just won't stay where I put it.

Do not use - paint & veneer comes off with tape

I used this to identify boxes and furniture for movers. I thought is would be noticeable and not leave any residue. It worked as intended and peeled off the cardboard boxes and plastic tubs perfectly. However, it took the veneer off a nightstand and the paper off an old tray. Since it was still sticky I saved a lot of it for reuse. I used a piece of this to hang an antenna on the wall. When I moved the antenna and peeled the tape off, it took the paint off with it. I do not recommend this product.
