As noted above these are difficult to open when my arthritis is flaring up but they are certainly effective and secure once attached to hold several (or more) papers together.

I was totally impressed with these clips. I heartily recommend them to anyone on your Christmas list. While very well finished they appear to be capable of lasting a lifetime. Maybe not an entire lifetime if I use them to pinch off my arteries. Well crafted and suitable for many uses.
