I use the binder clips to protect and hold together files mostly but I have used them in the kitchen to close chip's bags. Another use it holding a protective screen over my fish pond. You'd be shocked to learn that they are good at holding snake cages together for the snake who thinks he's Hudini.
Previously you stocked clips having plastic or rubberized coatings on the levers. These were far superior as they were much easier to hold clip open by increasing the grip stability of fingers. Hope you can re-stock those clips.
I use this product for my quilting projects. I will use them to hold my rolled material in place when I have to sew my quilt borders. I also used a couple of the clips to hold my quilt in place on the table when I was doing some trimming. The clips kept it from rolling off the table. When I use a lot of them (6 or More) on the quilt it does get a little heavy. But I was very satisfied with the use of them.
