basic yet versatile

Binder clips - so basic and yet so versatile. I hang calendars with them use them as little photo stands (upside down) one as a clip-on key ring to keep my mailbox key handy. Another binder-clip/magnet combo keeps a pen secretly hidden away in the office copy room. I could go on and on.

bought bigger clips that i secure my trash bags to my trash can. now i have the smaller clips for other uses.
