Perfect for classroom whiteboards

I just love these magnets. They can hold my large posters that I need to display for my students. I have tried several kinds and they weren't strong enough but these are.

These clips look nice on the refrigerator and are holding a very heavy and large calendar (I used three clips). The magnet backs are flush with the metal edges in back and are as large as the entire back.

Exactly what I wanted.Great for clipping papers like I do of appointments on the refrigerator. Also great for clipping chips etc. after opening. Nice heavy duty.

I have used the Staples Square Magnetic Clip in my classroom for the past two years. It is much more durable and stronger than the regular circular magnetic clip. I have not had any problem with the clips coming apart. When students are using the clips to hang work or a poster I need to caution them about the spring action of the hinges. Younger children would definitely need to be supervised when using these clips because of the strong spring action of the hinges. The magnets have an exceptional holding ability and sometimes I have had to slide them to the edge of a surface to get them to release.
