Fantastic Tape Easy to use fits on Tape dispenser perfectly and doesn't have the difficulty of some tapes that fold back upon itself and cause a mess.

Staples Standard Grade Packaging Tape

I've tried all the different varieties of Staples and 3M packaging tape. This is the best value in regards to quality and price but seems a little stretchy. I always tape boxes with several pieces of tape but this feels like its actually needed. Very sticky but seems a little on the thin side.

Don't buy if using to ship
on August 3, 2009

I had 50 boxes to ship. After packaging 20% of them we ran out of packaging tape. The owner of our company went to Staples and bought this because it seemed to be the best value and he trusted Staples branded products. We finished packaging our boxes using this tape. The next morning the tape was coming off of all of them and I had to buy a more reliable brand to reseal them all. Don't buy this tape. It's cheap and there's a good reason -- it's unreliable.

I mainly use this for sealing boxes and envelopes before putting them in the mail. It worked very well for those purposes.
