I purchased this tape as a replenishment to my supply that had run out. I usually purchase the 3M tape but decided to try the Staples brand because it was less costly. I guess I should have remembered the old saying "You get what you pay for!" This tape is very thin tends to tangle easily rips of its own accord and does not measure up to even half the quality of the 3M brand. Had I known that it was so flimsy I would have spent the extra dollars and purchased 3M. I have to admit I am sorely disappointed.

This is great tape - if you don't mind your packages coming open in transit!!! I noticed some of my boxes coming open on the way to the post office after sealing securely with Staples brand tape. This was never a problem with 3M Scotch tape. I thought I'd save some money by using Staples brand tape but now I'm afraid of using it for anything beyond affixing address labels and other "light shipping needs."

I use the tape primarily for shipping small packages. It's easy to use. It also doesn't tangle up when you are sealing a package which I appreciate. It has good adhesion so you don't have to worry about it peeling off during transit.
