Way too thin

I purchased this because of the great price but then received the product and IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference. Did not like this tape at all. Now i'm stuck with 6 rolls.

We were a little concerned with the yellow coloring of the tape we remembered that used to be the color of all packing tape "back in the day". The tape is very sticky so it does hold very well - but it is also very thin so that it did not rip off well.

This tape is absolutely fine for my shipping needs wrapping packages -- but I tried to use it to tape labels to glass/porcelain items to display in an antique shop booth. NEVER NEVER NEVER use it on anything like this !!! It WILL NOT come off - I had to SOAK (yes SOAK) the taped area with Goo Gone (the high end GooGone not the cheaper version) for NEARLY AN HOUR before I could remove all the residue and even then it had to be scraped with a fingernail/plastic pad to remove all of it. HORRID HORRIBLE !!!!! Do NOT use this tape for this purpose. As lower cost tape to wrap packages to be shipped it is just fine.

I like using staple brand products. They are always of high quality. The prices are always reasonable for staple brand products. This is one of those high quality staple brand products at a great price. I have been using this brand of packing tape for years now without any problems or regrets. I am a staples reward program member too. If you're not a staples reward member yet you should. As you can tell I am extremely loyal to staples and as a reward member I get great rewards and great offers.

Not as good as hoped for

This tape tangles easily and is rather thin. We were disappointed in the quality. Most Staples brand works well but not this one.

I would say if you are shipping items the do not carry lots of weight (under 5lbs) this tape will do. The best part is that for a few extra bucks you get double the amount of tape coompared to the same 6 rolls with half the amount.
