Lousy - barely sticks to anything

We find we use a lot of this on a simple package because it doesn't stick well on cardboard boxes. We end up wrapping it around the entire box so that it overlaps onto itself to which it adheres adequately.

Terrible product

I used this tape to seal boxes for moving and the next day the tape was un-sticking from the boxes. I had to re-seal with the 3M brand.

Pretty good quality for standard packing and shipping. A bit difficult once it gets off the track of the tape gun though.

Too thin. By a lot.

I don't know whether the problem is the tape itself or the mil thickness but this stuff is frustrating and useless. Even if I find the end on the roll-no easy task- and get it loose across the width of the tape pulling it away from the roll goes bad and I wind up with a tapering strip that finally tears off. The only way I could use it was by slicing across the roll DEEP with a razor blade then using the 9-10" long multi-layer strip. Save your money. Buy 2.6 or 3-mil tape. This stuff is a waste of time and money.

I love staples packing tape. It is an amazing price and it doesn't rip and it has a easy start to the roll clearly marked.

Not your normal packaging tape. . .

Since I was going for cheap tape I ought not complain toooo much except to say that this tape just doesn't want to unwind itself from the roll. I have a hand-held 3M dispenser and find it necessary to grab the end of the tape pull it hard and it gradually unwinds itself from the roll. In so doing it stretches and sometimes contracts and gets stuck to itself if I'm not careful with it. Now I've been using 2" tape for decades and have never experienced stretchy tape before. I guess I'll look for more expensive tape when these six rolls have been used. Another annoyance--the sticky side gets white cross-lines on it from rubbing on the dispenser and I have to be real careful not to place these over the bar code on the label because it might make the code hard to read.

It's tape.

This grade is somewhere between dollar store packaging tape and Scotch's shipping tape. I am doubling up in some places but I think it works well enough for what it's being used for (moving).
