Love them!

As a teacher I use these clips to stay organized. I use them to separte handouts for each class. They work so much better than paper clips and are easier to get on and off than rubber bands (which tend to snap over time.)

This type clip was recommended by my quilting teacher to hold quilts in place after stretching them over a hard surface in order to pin them. They should be perfect for this type application as they are what she used in class.

clips beyond organizing paper

Binder clips have so many uses beyond keeping papers tidy. I use the big ones to organize all my various media cords (a hack I saw on Canada Readers Digest). They are attached to my printer cart. They're also great for temporary in-progress mixed media construction projects. They are sturdy and are abrasive free.

went to store and told them I needed a clip able to hold thicker documents than what they had in store. I showed them the clip I had which holds only a document 1-1.5 inches and needed at least 2-2.5 inches. They recommended the clips referenced above andI ordered them. They are the same size as I already had. They will not hold a thicker document. Wasted time and put me in a bind searching at last minute for what I needed to meet a deadline.

These hold a large amount of paper and clip firmly. We even use them to hold up posters on divider walls.
