Disappointed

My husband was disappointed with this when I brought it home. The top is not consistent with the size for a 13 gal. trashbag to fit snuggly on top. It is too small and now instead of just pulling the trash bag on to the top I have to spend 2-3 min twisting and tying a small knot to keep it snug so it doesn't fall back into the bottom of the can. We already took to tag off and we wanted the look of a black trash can.

My floor is clean

This wastebasket is great. I brought this into my home and suddenly all of the garbage I'd been throwing on the floor had a place to go. I no longer have to worry about stepping on broken things tripping over trash or get slipped disks in my back from bending over 200 times a day to move a piece of trash to the side of the walkway. I've been using this for about 4 weeks now and it has proved to be quite useful. My productivity has increased tremendously. I appears that not having a wastebasket was costing me a lot of time in worrying about where I was walking. I also think I threw out a lot of non-garbage items because I couldn't tell the difference between the trash and the not-trash. I no longer have that problem as all trash goes directly into this beautiful silver bin! I have found that I now have so much free time from not having to worry about trash on the floor that after cleaning up my office I had nothing else to do so I took up basketball. I'm getting better but this thing really needs a good backboard. I managed to rig up a ghetto backboard with some cardboard and duct tape but I'd really like something that looks as high-class and professional as the beautiful silver bin. My cats really enjoy this wastebasket too. Being a new item in the office they have taken to exploring it. They learned that it can be tipped over by standing up and placing their front paws onto the rim and then relaxing a little so that it falls over allowing them to look inside and fish out whatever they like. I've had to learn to stop tossing wife's tuna casserole into this trash bin but I'm afraid that they've developed a habit already and I am no longer able to stop them. But that's OK because I'm pretty used to bending over to pick up trash. All that exercise I got before buying this has made my back strong! (Except for the occasional slipped disk but I'm used to those too.)

Funtional wastebasket

Just the right size for my small office; not too big and unsightly. I can go for a couple days without having to empty it. We have a small group practice and only have janitorial service once a week.

This waste paper basket is perfect for the small business office. It has the perfect shape to fit a rectangular space. I chose black because it blends perfectly with my office furniture and it's quite unnoticeable. It holds sufficient amount of office waste paper old catalogues flyers anything you want to dispose in an office environment. I haven't tested it for other use such as outdoors bathroom nor kitchen but I'm sure it's sturdy enough to take use and abuse easily. Upkeep is easy because it's made of plastic and it doesn't wear out bend or break like other wastebaskets I have.
