A most excellent trash can

It was a dark and stormy night when suddenly the power went out. With my reality show evening plans crushed I decided to drive to Staples where there's always something interesting happening. Tonight was no different. Easily passing through the electric doors I surveyed the unimaginable array of competitvely priced office products and there it was: a standard issue rubberized black office trash can! It was truly a thing of beauty with a smooth matte surface and clean aerodynamic lines. It pulled free from the stack of identical cans with a satisfying "pop". It was light and obviously quite durable. The understated tag made clear it would hold everything and more. I carried it to the register fully prepared for the questions I was likely to get from my fellow shoppers. When none came I simply waited. When it was my turn I smiled at the Staples Associate and proudly handed her my Staples Rewards card. An efficient transaction later I was back in my car happy with my purchase. All I can say is "that was easy!"

We are pleased with this product. We ordered ten and they were delivered the following day and were on sale even. Staples makes everything easy and we order all of our supplies from Staples. Thanks.

It is a small basket but that is exactly what I liked about it. The plastics consistant (no holes in it) and It works for it's task.

Great for the price

We have had several of these trash cans around the office for years. They have held up well with no splits or cracks. Naturally when we added a new employee we stuck with the same brand/type.

We love our new recycling containers!

This recycling container fits neatly under a desk and is a regular reminder to drop in paper for the recycling bin. It is the perfect size to accept the shredded paper from the shred basket. The lip offers a comfortable handhold to use when dumping the contents into the recycling dumpster. I like the bright blue color. It holds tall kitchen bags for use in the kitchen as a constant reminder to recycle plastic containers. The plastic will repel odors. The staff was glad to give up their paper boxes for this neat bin.

Hey It's a Wastebasket...

Thsi was purchased to repalce an identical one that had gotten brittle over time and had cracked (admittedly from a bit of abuse). It's plenty cheap enough but it would be nice if it was a bit more rugged.

Perfect for under the desk

It is a perfect fir for under the desk. Made out of a good plastic doesn't feel cheap. It is also at a great price. I use the plastic bags you get from any store after you buy something. The fit perfectly inside the trash can. The also dont leave gaps to where something could get into the trash can itself and leave a stain or smell as if you threw away a soda can. and if you do it is very easy to clean.I have recommended this to many of my friends who have also bought it and are very satisfied. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do!

little smaller than expected

Looking at the picture and description I thought this would be perfect for our office. Well I was right except for one thing. It was a little smaller than anticipated. Love Rubbermaid products and will continue to use them. I just wish there had been dimensions on the page. I had done some research before I purchased and thought this was the right size but just had to guess (couldn't find the dimensions on Rubbermaid website either). We are able to use the trash can and are pleased with it- just wished it was a little bigger.
