This is a very thick tape and holds packages and even crates together. Yes I have used it on wooden crates. This is a very strong tape.

Why look further?

I've been using this clear packing tape almost exclusively to seal boxes with merchandise going to customers. The tape has always held up. Never had any customer complaints about poor packaging. In business we all know how customers will search for the weak link in your service to attempt to get something as 'compensation' for their trouble. Well you don't have to concern yourself with any of those issues with this tape.

Excellent packing tape!

The long lasting packaging tape from Staples is the best that we've found. You only have to use one piece and it holds a good adhesive. We have tried many that do not stick at all without surrounding the box. A five star product.
