Best tape for mailing

My daughter started an organization 7 years ago to send packages to our deployed troops called Angels over Iraq & Afghanistan. Brianna and about 15 of her friends have sent snack and hygiene items on a regular basis. The packages weigh between 30-40 pounds each. They have a long way to go to reach their destination. They all seem to arrive in good shape thanks to a solid tape to hold them together in the heat and humidity. They have sent a total of more than thirteen tons in the past seven years.

Only good if you buy the MOST expensive tape. The others do not work well. They come loose!

Poor adhesion makes more work in getting product to stick. Next time I'll get something with a tape gun included.

Does the job nicely

We run a USPS shipping department and go through tape constantly. We find this tape to be just as good or even better to use than some of the "name brands". The tape provides good adhesion on different surfaces and does not start peeling off after a few minutes after being applied. I can't speak to it discoloring as it's never here long enough to see. When applied the tape is clear. The tape tears easily in an industrial tape dispenser and does not bunch up again like some cheaper tape does. Very good product for the money.

This tape really was not "heavy duty".

Wish this tape was the quality of the Scotch brand packing tape. It was very frustrating to try to wrap around boxes as it would stick to itself and seemed to stretch when I would try and cut it with the scissors. I always use the scotch brand tape and decided to give the double roll six pack a try of the staples brand. Oh well I guess I will not be buying the Staples brand of packaging tape again. Luckily it is for my business and I will just add the receipt to my list of business expenses and deductions.
