Best deal available Tape works well for preparing packages. Thickness of 2.2 mils is just right. Sticks very well and is strong enough for cross country shipments. Thicker tapes like some Duck Tape products are actually too thick and tend to come off. Thicker is not always better. And the price is always lower than Scotch products and items on ebay and amazon.
I always purchase this thicker size tape even for general office mailing needs. The smaller mil tape size usually tears frequently from my experience. Great Tape at a Fair Price
Compared to Scotch brand packing tape this is a high 10 and the thick stiff Scotch brand is a low 3. Taping shut cartons requires tape that unrolls easily and tape that will flow into valleys and around corners without bulging. The tape needs to be form fitting and strong enough that the carton needs to be secured only once around. When using Scotch I often taped twice because it was so unwieldy I thought it would lift off. The alternative source U-Line has good tape as well but the advantage is only in big volumes. Staples for under 20-30 rolls is the best deal or so close to it that there's no reason to chase pennies when they offer just what i need for every package sealing need for moving and package shipping.
