The long lasting packaging tape from Staples is the best that we've found. You only have to use one piece and it holds a good adhesive. We have tried many that do not stick at all without surrounding the box. A five star product.

Good value compared to Scotch version.

Moving and wanted a strong long lasting tape to seal boxes. I have both Scotch Mailing and Storage tape and Staples heavy duty storage. This tape is good but not as thick as the Scotch. The staples tape is better than any other no name brand mailing tape that becomes brittle with age or stretches when pulled under tension. This tape is reasonably hefty and because it is not too thick has a good stick. I decided to use this tape for mailing and use the Scotch for storage/moving due to the thickness and durability.
