GOOD TAPE

I don't think you have to go with brand name tape. I taped up my boxes all the way around in two different directions at least 4 times each and shipped my boxes. while the boxes didn't fair well the tape on the boxes held up very well. I would definitely buy this tape again.

The Staples packing tape is a good alternative to the more expensive 3M brand. Tensile strength and durability are comparable and tape doesn't become yellow or brittle over time.

I have recently just switched to using the Staples brand heavy-duty storage tape and have be very pleased with the product. I work for a company where we do a lot of packing products into boxes for our schools and other organizations. This tape holds well on the tape guns and very rarely gets stuck or twisted. We are very pleased with the Staples brand product and will purchase it from now on instead of the other tape we have been purchasing for years. Plus this tape costs less than the other brand we had been using!
