Placed this wastebasket inside my wooden hamper cabinet to throw in your wet bath towels/wash cloths. The wet towels had begun to cause the wood to pill away. This solved my problem; plus now I simply remove the light weight wastebasket and easily carry towels to the laundry room.
This is a trash can that is a great example of American workmanship. Price is reasonable for a product made in the U.S.A and as we know it is hard to find anything made here.. It fits under our standard size sink cupboard and holds a 13 gallon trash bag nicely. Not too tight which can be frustrating when you use the liners with draw strings. It could be used in an office barn bathroom garage bedroom almost anywhere you need to dispose of undesirables. One might even consider using it as a mop bucket due to the large capacity and thick walls. I love it...
I was looking for a medium sized sturdy wastebasket and found what I needed at Staples. These wastebakets are great for home or office and in my case I bought two; one for upstairs and one for the basement. They are very well made easy to clean and the price is also very nice. They come in other sizes so when I need to refurbish my organizing projects and buy more I'll go back to Staples this was a great find.
It's just a wastebasket for goodness sakes and this does what is supposed to do. The photo however shows a sturdier Rubbermade-type of wastebasket as indicated by the two tabs under the lip of the basket in the photo. This basket however does not have these two tabs and is flimsier than the other Rubbermade wastebaskets in our office. It is made in America however like the Rubbermade which is good.
