Wastebasket

This is a nice size Brighton Professional Wastebasket Black 7 gal. by Brighton Professional. We use it by our coffee maker hot chocolate and tea containers. It holds our empty white styrofoam cups empty sugar and cream packets and napkins from our occassional Sunday morning snacks. It keeps our gallery nice and clean. It also is a nice container to hold our spoons forks and beverage stirrers. Our Sunday school attendees seem to really like the size as it fits just nicely by our serving table.

I use it as a recycling container for office paper. It blends in with the furniture and has good capacity.

This container is light weight strong and easy to clean. It can be lined with a paper grocery bag or a 13 gal. plastic kitchen trash bag for easy maintenance. The price is so reasonable for this wastebasket there can be one in every room of the building.

Hard to clean! Ergonomic ZERO!

Whoever designed this should be sent to the circular file. There are standing ribs inside the bottom that create hard to clean corners - 16 inside corners!! The whole point of a wastebasket is to have smooth rounded corners inside so the contents come out easily and so it can be cleaned out once in a while. Apparently the marketing people thought that stackability on the store shelf was more important or they couldn't imagine putting the stacking ribs under lip like EVERY OTHER waste basket. Would it be so difficult to look at the competition and mess around with a wastebasket for a few hours to see how it works? Geesh!
