I don’t know whether or not I don’t have an inkjet printer (HP Envy 5530) or it is not a good product. The images I transferred to t-shirts is cracking. However, Avery brand products have never let me down so I will continue to work with it.
Response from avery.comBy Avery Consumer Care, April 20, 2022
Oh no we're so sorry the images started to crack after applying the transfer. It is possible that more pressure may need to be applied when ironing the transfer on. Please reach out to our Care Team at Avery.com/contact or call at 800-462-8379, we would be more than happy to assist with the issue.

I just bought this product and followed all the directions and the back is not coming off. I was using another brand with no problems and ran out so I ran to the closest store and bought this Avery product.

Hello, I am sorry to hear about this issue you are having with applying these fabric transfers. One trick we have found to help with peeling off the backing off of a transfer is to re-iron, then place the item in the freezer for 2 minutes. If you still cannot remove the transfer and need a replacement or refund, please contact our Client Services. You can chat with us on avery.com/help, or call us at 800-462-8379 Mon-Fri 6am - 5pm PST.

Bad experience

I have never had problems with Avery t-shirt transfers before, but this one was awful. I read all the directions - paper and online - followed them carefully, timed the transfer and the cool down time. I had REAL trouble getting the transfer off. Because it wanted to peel back off, I had to do the ironing part two more times, but then I couldn't get the transfer to release from the backing paper. The image was adhered, but it was like the backing was glued down as well. I got it off, but it left a raised spot on the edge of the transfer. On the back of the transfer paper, there were raised bumps as there was still some glue on the back of the transfer paper. I ironed it back down, let it cool, but when I removed it, it pulled up a gooey piece of the transfer. I tried to iron it back down again using the backing paper again and letting it cool completely. This time it came off, but it was spotty and not even. Just a mess.
