Except for the cost of mistakes, this is an awesome product! The kids in my summer program LOVE that they can have shirts and hats for their 'teams'! Much less expensive that having shirts custom printed..

How to get the back off to heat press
on October 4, 2018

Help. I have ruined many transfer prints. I can't separate the transfer from the back paper. How is this done?
Response from avery.comBy Avery Consumer Care, October 4, 2018
If the backing paper is still sticking to your fabric then we would recommend ironing over the transfer again with another couple of minutes of harder presses. Then leave the transfer to cool for two minutes and slowly try to peel the corner of the transfer again. If you continue to have problems please talk to our Consumer Care Center at Avery.com/contact and our team can help you further.

Impossible to peel, ink does not adhere and if anything touches it before you iron it is loses the print. I hate this mess

Image comes out beautiful, but turned yellow!

I used these on a baby onesie and followed the instructions exactly, even watched the youtube video to be double sure, printed, cut, and applied. The instructions said to iron on high for 30 second, I got about 18-20 seconds in and it was smoking so i pulled it off because i figured it was done, went to peel it off and it was stuck so i though maybe it was a cold peel, waiting about 20 seconds and went to peel and it was still difficult, when i finally managed to pull it all off, i noticed that the inside of my design where it was white turned yellow. So great now I am out an entire onesie because the instructions are not correct. Burnt the transfer after only 15 seconds, theres no way it would have worked at 30 seconds. Take this into consideration when buying this item.

Colors don't transfer
on June 12, 2019

I really like the ease of use of there transfers. But unless I am printing a black and white image (and only use black ink) do I have success with the color being accurate. I did a test print on regular paper (which was fine), then a print on the transfer. Once I heated and peeled the backing off, the colors were way off, really yellow. Now I'm at a loss as to how to transfer my images to fabric.

I Love Your Dark Tranfer The T-shirts Last Years wash after wash,But These Light transfers Don't....It says Color Shield™ formula means colors stay bright, even after being washed SO I Am Confused????? I have Been Making and Selling Shirts for years and EVERY time I Use the Light Transfer on White t-s it comes out Great But After the First Wash Colors Fade SO BAD....And just get worse after each wash...It Say Color Shield™ formula means colors stay bright, even after being washed

Would help if the instructions had EVERYTHING you need to know

I just went through a whole package thinking I was doing EXACTLY what the instructions said to do. I had my own pics to copy onto the sheet and did so. NO WHERE on the instructions does it say to print with mirror image. Now I know some of you might say well DUH but before I used the light sheets, I was using the dark transfer sheets first and no mirror image was needed. I checked and double checked on the instructions to make sure it said anything about mirror image for the light transfer sheets. Again NO WHERE does it say that. Would have been nice to have that information before I ruined a whole pack of these. So for those of you wanting to try these, they are okay but just remember to print your design off using the mirror image. Lesson learned here the hard way!!!!
