This tape is not a professional quality packing as the name suggests. Its really poor in sticking on packages and comes off within seconds. Staples should not sell this product as most of the items sold at this store are of decent is not great quality. This item is a disaster!!!

way too thin and tears

this is ok for light taping but i would not consider this packaging tape. very bad quality. one roll had a deep cut in it and every time my tape gun rolled around to that point it would just tear. what a disaster. while dispensing with my 2" wide tape gun it would wrinkle on one side and i would end up using twice as much just to get it right. it works better on the 3" wide tape gun but it makes it harder to gage where you are taping. not worth the savings. just spend a little more for real packaging tape.

Just what we needed

We basically use this tape to seal boxes of clothing to be shipped to our stores or stored for use at different seasons. As we go through quite a bit of this product we looked around for an alternative that would possibly be less expensive. We did find such a product but we seemed to be going through it faster. The staff reported that the replacement tape did not perform as well as the Staples tape and we quickly restocked with the Staples tape.
