This is a very expensive paper but also the best out there. Hard to believe it's Staples brand. I'm a paper snob and there is honestly nothing better.

Very good heavy duty laser printer paper. Better than the normal paper especially for professional documents such as legal paperwork. It is more expensive however.

Need something more opaque?

When looking at a double sided copy with heavy printing on both sides this is a wonderful buy. I use this for Sunday worship bulletins. I use it in my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. It works fine though it is NOT a Laser printer. The 4 ream case is just the right size for ease of storage and the amount used weekly. I am currently using 50 sheets a week so the product has a long shelf life for my use. The quality is great and the results are great! The heavy paper is just right for bulletins and other posts. Once you have used it you'll come back to it again and again!

Excellent Paper for the Price

The Staples Bright White Laser Paper is an excellent buy for the price. I create greeting cards and use the paper as an insert to the card to type or stamp my message. The paper is very bright and has a nice weight to it. I usually purchase this paper by the ream but because I don't want to run low again I purchased a case. It comes 4 reams to a case and it's cheaper buying it by the case than by the ream. I like the Staples Bright White Laser Paper better than Hammermill. I find that it has a better weight to it and it's brighter. For this quality paper I would expect to pay more but glad that I don't have to.

Staples Recently Demoted the Quality of this Product

Staples recently changed this product with what appears to be a lesser product. What used to be supplied in a bright yellow package is now supplied in a multi colored blue package. Although the item # 733331 and the 'spec' numbers are the same for both packaging (500 sheets 98 bright & 28 lb) the two are noticeably different with the blue package offering a thinner and in my opinion a less desirable product. You can feel the difference between the sheets. If you place the full reams side by side the former yellow package is thicker; i.e. it either has more sheets than 500 or the paper itself is thicker than the new blue package. Please bring back the "yellow package" version -- it was noticeably a better quality item.
