difficult to peel off backing

I cut full page labels in half for printing customs forms for my international packages. I tried the Staples brand since they were less expensive than Avery. After cutting in half I couldn't get the backing paper to peel off easily. Staples easily took the return at the store and I have gone back to using Avery labels.

Staples Full Sheet Shipping Labels are Superior to Most Others

These labels are the best. They are white and bright (unlike all the others) don't bleed through and on an inkjet printer and print with superior color quality and sharpness. I highly recommend.

Hard to remove backing

The labels are okay but we use them for shipping and in most cases the label needs to be cut in half. Once you do that the label is almost impossible to peel off. Avery has a much superior system of cuts in their backing paper and removes easily. If you are using the entire sheet in one piece these labels are just fine but a little thinner than Avery.
