We are sorry that you are having abnormal trouble with this OtterBox Cable. We assure you that this is not at all typical and we absolutely want to get to the bottom of this mystery as soon as possible.
As long as you are using a proper wall adapter you should not have this issue. We highly recommend the adapter that came with your phone to avoid any anomalies.
If you are using the correct adapter and continue to have this issue please give our friendly Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269 and we will gladly get a warranty replacement lined up in practically no time at all!

Would not go anywhere with out an OtterBox Defende

Bought a pixel XL it is a large phone. The drfender makes it bulky, HOWEVER, I Would not go anywhere without this case. I am clumsy and would be filing insurance claims often without the Defender. I would never give up the protection this case offers. Have had the Defender series on all my phones, never a scratch on the phone but the cases take a hard beating from me. Construction sites, and just day to day activities puts the Defender through it's test!
