This is a powerful computer in a small form factor. I installed 32gb of RAM and the Western Digital SN7100 2TB driver. Windows 11 installed in a few minutes. I don't play games but use a lot of productivity software. I rarely have gotten the CPU usage above 75% and RAM usage above 50%. I put the NUC on "Performance mode" to see how loud the fan gets. It does get a little loud once in a while (like a laptop fan) but isn't bothersome to me at all. A user can always put the NUC on "Whisper mode", if needed. The CPU rarely 70 deg C and my SN7100 stays under 40 deg C.
This is my first "mini-PC". I usually build my own computers but wanted something different than a desktop tower by my feet.
The main "issue" I have is it doesn't have an audio port. I did have an extra USB-C hub that has an audio connection and have used that to hook up my desktop speakers. No issues there, just annoying for this price point.
All said, I highly recommend this kit. I'm very happy with my purchase.
