Great operation and looks! SOOO loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hood came with our new house. It is a true vent to the outside, it really does a great job! We upgraded the lights to an LED bulb and love it. Our only complaint is that even on the lowest speed...you can't hear yourself think. At just over a year old, we also just noticed that all the markings under the buttons just seemed to rub off and disappear. Obviously still usable, and I know what button does what....but really?

So easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hood has simple pop out tabs for the vents that make it a breeze to take out and clean. It's says dishwasher safe but I haven't attempted that yet. The ventilation, light and look of it make cooking feel a bit more like a luxury than a chore!

Just don’t!

We got the Frigidaire appliance package with our new build home purchased in May. After the first month the ice maker from the fridge stop working. About 2 months later the motor from the hood vent stop working. Took over a month and many days off to wait for them to fix it. Just got the motor replaced about 2 weeks ago and now the motor has stop working again. I’m just beyond frustrated right now because we just move in not too long ago. We just want to enjoy our new home. We also are self employees, all the days we took off waiting for the technician to come fix we don’t get pay from work. We took a total of 4 days off of work already between the fridge and the vent. And the repair company never have anything available on our days off or soon. They are also rude and hard to talk to. I’m afraid to call them right now. Just save yourself trouble and buy a different model or brand.
