Just what we expected

Good, but loud plus….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks good and works well enough, but the highest setting is very loud and the middle setting doesn’t seem much stronger than the lower setting.

Very noisy and flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hood mostly does what it's meant to do, but still not very happy with it.
It is extremely noisy, even on the lowest fan setting, but deafening on the highest setting.
The filters don't line up correctly when installed, and the whole thing appears to be made out of extremely thin and flimsy metal.
Disappointing.

loud sound

In the specification, the sound level is 69.9 dBA and I checked with the customer service that the range is 58.5-69.9 dBA (1-3 speeds). Mine actual sound is from 72 dBA-82 dBA
I talked with customer service again about the loud sound and here is the reply.
"This may just be how they are manufactured, and unfortunately, I do not manufacture the units. I have no other suggestions as to why it is louder than specified"

Given there are so many people complaining about the loud sound, I am very confused why the specification is so different from the actual sound level.
