[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works wonderfully over our gas range. We had the hood vented outside. Until clears the smoke and smell. High is a bit loud, but it moves alot of air to make up for the noise.

Was concerned with many reviews about how loud it is, however, I thought it would be much worse after reading so many reviews, and we have no problem with the sound. Vented to the outside and seems powerful. Thought about making it ductless but was not able to get the insert. Be sure you look into that before purchasing. Glad we vented to the outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great in the kitchen, and functions well.Loud at the highest setting, but we typically use a lower setting, and it is not too loud. A little tricky to clean the canopy without leaving streak marks. But overall we are happy with this fan.
