you need a box spring or a better base

The bed frame itself is nice quality and looks good but you need a boxpring, this does not work if you don't have one as there were only 4 slats. We ended up getting a box spring to make it all work but it would have been easier just to buy a bed with a proper base to it.

This is GREAT! Don't hesitate to buy. I have a low profile box spring and a 12 inch mattress and they look right on Not too hard to assemble and it looks much more expensive than it is. Very goos purchase.

This bed is absolutely beautiful. The linen has great texture and very pretty white color. It that feels very modern. It was easy to put together and took me about 1.5 hours to do by myself.
