Could have been better

The product shipped with one of the wires cut, so I had to splice it. The hopper is shaped such that material (in my case, Ice Melt) sits on the ledge and doesn't go down to the hole. The cable mechanism for the shoot bent the first time I used it. The connection cable is not very long and just barely reaches the battery contacts on my Kubota XG850 side-by-side. Overall, I think this unit will work very well for seed and fertilizer, but is not well suited for winter applications like salt or sand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
