That is fantastic! $99, for a 4800 dpi scanner? Bro, if you need a scanner, this is the one you will definitely buy, before I actually get it, I thought that’s just a 300-600 dpi normal one, but it’s not! It’s canon! Canon never makes me disappointed.
Great scanner! Very quick setup I just plugged the USB3 plug into my 6 month old HP laptop and started using it…! High quality scans done rapidly. Couldn’t be more pleased.
For the price this is a great scanner. The resolution, even in color mode, is exceptional. As well this scanner is designed to scan other than single sheets. The lid is designed to scan books and other documents much thicker than a single sheet. In addition the power is derived from the USB cable so portability is great.
The software requires some playing around with. Not at all obvious where scanned files are placed on your computer as an example.
Really easy to use and the setup was fast, also it's very portable since it is powered through the provided USB Cable. I didn't really like the scanning software that Canon provided but it works really well with Adobe Acrobat. Quality is really good too if you are using it for Documents
Very satisfied with the high image quality, ease of use and portable design. I'm running on a 2020 MacBook Pro with no problems - for Mac users I prefer the built-in app 'Image Capture' opposed to the software included with the scanner. A great low-cost scanner I'd definitely recommend!
I just bought the Canon 400 Lide scanner today and downloaded the driver and software package for Windows 10 from the Canon web site. I suggest you do this instead of using the disc that comes with the scanner. It was easy to install and set up and the scanner is working perfect
