I bought one in June 2021. It stopped cooling after 3 years well past the warranty. I used it often, and when it worked, it could cool my home office down very quickly as I have PC's that throw off alot of heat and I WFH, so I decided to just buy a new one, same model this August 2024. The new unit came and it was redesigned/improved - it is slightly shorter, but cools even faster than the last. I like the re-design of the exhaust hose - much easier to remove and install than before. The new unit pushes the air out of one side more than straight ahead - this was different than the last version, but proved better for my room. I like the new unit alot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mighty little a/c unit!

I bought this a few weeks ago after suffering without a/c through a heatwave - now we have fewer days that are too warm but are still having some pretty hot & humid days. I originally planned to get at 14,000 BTU unit but it was on back order so I got this one and have been very happy with it. It was easy to install and works great - I haven’t even set up the dehumidifier features yet but my thermostat shows that the indoor air temperature & humidity levels go down quickly when I use the a/c. I actually bought 2 and was waiting to test the 1st before opening the 2nd - now looking forward to installing the 2nd one in the bedroom so it’s more comfortable to sleep on warm nights! Recommend this for anyone who needs a/c but isn’t permitted to cut a hole in the wall & install the European style ones (I live in a condo so I can’t do that); or if you want one that you can love easily from one room to another or different windows in a large space

Worked well until…

I bought this unit around 3 months ago and it worked like a charm! We then had a power surge when the power flickered on and off and it then shut off during use the next day. We tried to everything per the manual and nothing worked. Hopefully their surge protector cords are able to withstand it the next time!
