Deck and Patio Attachment - Works Really Well!

We looked at several different cleaners and decided to go with this one. We have several other Sun Joe products and trust the quality we get. First - customer service. The cleaner arrived having been very obviously damaged in shipment. The Sun Joe box was broken open, parts as well as the instructions were missing, and everything was just dumped into another box and delivered. Sun Joe sent us another complete unit without question. We always get great service from them. As far as cleaning - we just cleaned our 140 foot concrete driveway and this little tool did a great job. I've used professional surface cleaners, so I can objectively say this is a great unit for a pretty low price. Make no mistake, you are going to get wet using it. But it is so much easier and quicker than working with just our Sun Joe pressure washer wand on 140 feet of concrete. It took a little time to determine the best height above the surface and angle of attack for cleaning, but once we used it a while, it was quite easy to get a really great cleaning job. Our driveway had not been cleaned in years, and we have oak trees that drop on it constantly. So there was a lot of grime and debris to clean. This little tool really works well.

The Sun Joe Surface, Deck & Patio Cleaning Attachment for SPX pressure washer came at a great price, was easy to assemble and cleans very effectively. However, I did not rate it as "Excellent" because it does not draw soap from the washer. All it does is scrub with water jets. If you need soap you must first use the soap jet attachment and spray the surface to be cleaned then put the cleaning attachment back on. For large jobs you will have to do this multiple times. It would be much better product if it would draw soap from the washer as you used it.

It's messy.... But works better and faster at cleaning paver sidewalks than just using a high pressure nozzle as you cover more area. The nozzle is basically one brick at a time. This neat little tool gets several at a time. The brush around the perimeter doesn't do all that much, but the rotating attachment with two nozzles does the job.
The wand that come with it is kind of short and I had also purchased the wand extension kit which gives you extra length so you are not bending over so much. I'm glad this little tool works well as now I have to clean the paver patio next.

I Have a 24' X 13' cement stepping stone patio. As it gets older and worn down The surface gets rougher and rougher. I would take hours to pressure wash it. Saw the cleaning attachment. Saw price and thought you have to be kidding. This has to be a joke. Nothing that cheap can be any good. Said to myself you just have to see this thing. When it got here my wife and I both got a big laugh out of it. Long story short got it out this AM. This thing is fantastic. In my case it wouldn't ride right on the surface do to rough surface. I would tip a little, but I cut hours off of the job. (I kid you not) Am dying to try it on a smooth surface.

Good when used the right way on rough surfaces

Some reviewers complained that the unit tended to tip when used. I found that to be especially true on my rough Kool-Deck pool deck when trying to push it forward and back. That method didn't work at all. Then I discovered that if it is moved from side to side instead, there is no problem at all. Simple solution! Now it is working great.

makes washing much faster

I like this attachment except expect to get really dirty when using it. It flips up and sprays the dirt all over you. Wear safety goggles. BUT I cleaned two driveway walls, one without this and one with this. It took an hour for one wall, 10 minutes with this attachment! Well worth getting dirty! It did a better job on a cement patio than just the power washer alone.

Much better for cleaning my deck than just using the wand attachenent. I have to seal the deck every year because I live near the ocean. This speeds things up.
