To heart up the 1.8L is not super rapid. Wish it boiled faster. The interior metal top ledge catches water & I can see it rusting in time. Wished it had a smooth finish or funneled downward so the water doesn't sit on it. Otherwise it's pretty good.

Precise, hot water

I’m a baker and I need precise temperatures when I am doing yeast bread and this allows me to turn it on watch for the right temperature and stop it when I need to and I know exactly what I need and I can also make tea and sterilize things so this is a great great tool

Love the digital temp control and SUPER fast boil.
Color indicator lights are a nice feature.
Easy to clean, clear water measurements.

I dry interior at end of use because I saw reviews that showed calcium build up at glass/metal top edges that caused people to return the product. Is this an issue you’re aware of?
