love the way it heats up, fast. However when I pour from the pot, water leaks around the base. Yuck

Love the speed at which it heats water!

This is my second Chefman kettle. The first one lasted me many years of multiple uses per day, much better by far than more expensive kettles I purchased in the past. This kettle holds a good amount of water so the family can use it simultaneously. I like that I can see how much water is in the kettle and that the led lights at the base light up when it is heating the water. This electric kettle is faster than using the stove to boil water. It’s a great appliance to have.

I would like it better if the tea infuser container was shorter to allow for easier cleaning, and if it could be raised and lowered into the pot water using the handle on the lid.

Picked this up when my old kettle quit in mid job

Washed it out and put it to work as soon as I received it. It has a clean look. Actually weighs less than my previous 1.5 liter kettle.
