Pot turns off once it reaches temperature. I wish it stayed hot so I could refill my cup frequently throughout the morning. Like everything else about it.

Love the electric kettle and that it is glass not plastic like my old one. Pretty blue color ring, automatic shut off and comes with tea holder. Also has mesh filter at spout to prevent any tea or other items getting out. So much quicker to heat up than on stove.
