Haven't used it yet, only plugged it in to ensure it heats properly, and it does.

Just received this on the mail today and tested this out by making a tuna melt. Griddle heated up quickly and heat was well distributed. Looking forward to making future brunches with my family.

I am retired and there is just the two of us and the electric grill is just the right size. The only thing is I wish the cord was just a little longer.
