Knocking sounds/Cranberry juice freeze

We have used the machine a total of 4 times we made slushies with Coke and lemonade.They both turned out well a little fine tuning for the lemonade , but they worked perfectly fine. we want try cranberry juice. The juice is not sugar-free but freezing.Large chunks of ice would freeze around the cylinder , and it began to make a knocking sound during the churning process. We drained the juice.Let the machine defrost and start it again.We tried this 3 times each time.We got the same issue.The Juice kept freezing.We will try a few other products to make sure it's not a one-off or an issue with the particular juice that we purchased but the cranberry juice that we purchased was Ocean Spray cranberry splash. It has 12% sugar, which should be plenty enough sugar for it to. We used the juice setting and got the same result and tried the slush setting and got the same result.. I'm a little concerned.
