Definite improvement over traditional snow shows. I care for my house and two other houses and there has been a lot of snow this year. This shovel definitely makes snow clearing easier. Light weight, great balance and definitely easier to move a lot of snow.

Where has this shovel been all my life?

Of the many, many shovels I've used over the years, this is the one I'd buy again. In the past, I've been a sucker for so-called "ergonomic" shovels, and this is the only one that has exceeded my hopes. The Shovelution really is different, for comfort and efficiency. To my surprise, the springy secondary handle works equally well for users of different heights. I cleared a wet, heavy snowfall this morning, with no discomfort. That's a first. I still don't love shoveling, but I like this shovel very much.

I have used this shovel for at least 2 snow years now and absolutely love it! With 2 handles I do not feel the pull on my bad back, easy to lift and throw. My only hovel!

Love the Shovel - One suggestion for Improvement

Absolutely love the Snow Joe shovel. I have the 18" shovel and it works very well for my needs. I am 5'8" tall and the two handles are positioned very well for me to use. No strain at all and I was able to shovel 4" of new snow from my three car driveway and the sidewalk in front of my house in the same time that my neighbor was able to shovel just their front sidewalk. So, it easy to use and faster than using other snow shovels. I think I was able to maintain a faster rate due to the reduced stress on my body. Not bad, since I am 71 years old and my neighbor is still in their 40's. I do have a suggestion for improvement of the aluminum blade on the shovel. The blade is just pressed onto the plastic shovel without any adhesive holding the aluminum blade in place. I noticed that this was likely a weak spot in the shovel design. So, I carefully removed the aluminum blade, squeezed a bead of silicone sealant into the entire slot in the aluminum blade, and then reinstalled the blade onto the plastic part of the shovel. If you do this step, remember to let the shovel set for about 24 hours before you use it to let the silicone cure.
