Amazing in House with Lots of Furniture!!
on December 17, 2025
Posted by: Evin
I purchased the Mova V50 Ultra Complete in black for my parents. They have black tile floors in the kitchen, several white cats, and lots of furniture. The Mova V50 has saved them so much time cleaning everyday. With the black tile floors, white pet hair is very visible and the Mova is able to keep the floors clean every night. I have found that it takes some trial and error with different cleaning modes to get the clean I wanted, but once I did, it was great. For example, I have opted in to use less water on the black tile floors for mopping since using more water left streaks. I also prefer to run a vacuum cycle first to take up all the pet hair, and then run a vacuum + mop cycle right after for the best clean.

Crazy cat hair is no match for the V50!
on December 27, 2025

I have six cats. I bought another robot vaccum brand and I used it for about 3 days. Every 15 minutes or so it would stop and I'd get an error message that I needed to clean the brush roll. Cat hair would be tangled on the brush roll from end to end. The V50 has been absolutely amazing with the cat hair. The obstacle avoidance and mopping are the icing on the cake!

Smart little mop/vacuum with all of the important features
on December 30, 2025
Posted by: Brice
I have been using the V50 for several weeks now and am quite pleased with all of the features and technology you get for the price point. The main features I wanted were: lift/leap system to get over thresholds and spinning mop pads instead of roller mop. I have a baby gate for my dog and cat that has a threshold of 1.65in, and the Mova V50 can actually get over it no problem, exceeding the height that the official documentation states it can leap over. So in this way, it exceeded my expectations. I also love the spinning mop pad with the ability to hot water wash because I had a roller style from a different company and had to return it because it smelled awful after 3 days of cleaning, and was very difficult to clean and maintain. So far, I have not noticed any smell at all from the V50 or the dock, and have not had to perform any maintenance besides wiping the sensors. Other standout features for me are the dustbag drying, since I live in a humid environment, and the app customization features of which there are a lot.
Features which were lacking or not implemented are: no dirt detection system on the base station dirty water tank, poor battery life, and small dirty water and fresh water tanks
The vacuuming performance is industry standard, that is to say: I have hardwood floors and it does not pick up 100% of the dog hair (checked with a laser vacuum) but it gets 99% on max suction. On silent mode/lesser suction modes, I would not even bother since it leaves a lot of hair (this is true for EVERY robot vacuum I have ever had or tested - max suction is the only mode worthwhile). I found it works better to vacuum before mopping, rather than vac and mop at the same time, since the mop pad sticks out from the vacuum a bit so will get the hair wet and it sticks to the floor. As a counterpoint, I have a stick mop/vac combo from a well known brand that does not do as good of a job mopping or vacuuming as this robot on max suction, so I would still say the performance is great. Just don't expect the battey life to last too long, but it's not a problem for me because I run it overnight.
Overall though, no vacuum is going to be perfect, and this one checks so many more boxes for me than others. Robot vacuums should make your life easier, so if you want something you don't have to spend a lot of time fiddling with and maintaining, and does a fantastic job cleaning, the Mova V50 is a great choice. I would buy it again and may even get another one for my 2nd floor.

Best All in one robot

I’ve had a variety of bots to do vacuum and mop jobs, and there’s always issues. Always a negative. This is the first that I cannot find one bad thing to say. It works, it’s well made and looks good, I’m so happy!

Best Robo Vacuum I've owned
on November 27, 2025
Posted by: Zach
This machine is solid and had all the features I was looking for, good obstacle avoidance, good suction, conical brushes so the brushes don't get loaded with hair. I've owned the vacuum about 3 months and run it on a schedule to sweep about 1600 Sq ft everyday, mop every other day. I have a large dog with long hair that sheds heavily. The brush stays clear and I've never had to properly clean it like i have to with previous vacuums. The only maintenence i need to do is every new and then I'll have to pull out a large clump, which usually means the dust bin is too compacted and it was blocking the hair from being picked up. This only happened after skipping the scheduled cleaning for a week where more dirt had built up. It's a pricy vacuum but in all you can definitely get your money's worth. I don't spend a lot of time cleaning before hand and it does a great job not getting stuck. We had a few problems with it struggling to find the dock during the first week of use but past that it's been solid.

Better than the competition
on November 30, 2025

Pleasantly surprised to have found this Mova V50. I tried all the flagship models of their competitors, and this one seems to be standing out the most because the better software and suction power. Looks like all Mova robots have an airflow above average. I think I could have been happy even with a P10, but I needed the retracting radar to reach low areas. There are only few other robots from the competition that go this low, but they have a lesser performance for their price point compared to Mova.
