Very impressed with overall performance.

Mapping - Mapping the house took < 10 mins.
Navigation - Able to navigate with minimal bumping into objects. I like the resume after encountering a pet feature. Has not gotten lost once. Was able to jump over a stone bath mat. No issues with going under entertainment center.
Object detection - Was able to detect cords in lit and dark areas and have not had any tangles happen.
Vacuuming - Have pets and people with long hair, all of the pet hair is getting picked up and long hair with no tangles on the rollers.
Mopping - Minimal water is being left and no streaks being left behind.

Smart little mop/vacuum with all of the important features
on December 30, 2025

I have been using the V50 for several weeks now and am quite pleased with all of the features and technology you get for the price point. The main features I wanted were: lift/leap system to get over thresholds and spinning mop pads instead of roller mop. I have a baby gate for my dog and cat that has a threshold of 1.65in, and the Mova V50 can actually get over it no problem, exceeding the height that the official documentation states it can leap over. So in this way, it exceeded my expectations. I also love the spinning mop pad with the ability to hot water wash because I had a roller style from a different company and had to return it because it smelled awful after 3 days of cleaning, and was very difficult to clean and maintain. So far, I have not noticed any smell at all from the V50 or the dock, and have not had to perform any maintenance besides wiping the sensors. Other standout features for me are the dustbag drying, since I live in a humid environment, and the app customization features of which there are a lot.
Features which were lacking or not implemented are: no dirt detection system on the base station dirty water tank, poor battery life, and small dirty water and fresh water tanks
The vacuuming performance is industry standard, that is to say: I have hardwood floors and it does not pick up 100% of the dog hair (checked with a laser vacuum) but it gets 99% on max suction. On silent mode/lesser suction modes, I would not even bother since it leaves a lot of hair (this is true for EVERY robot vacuum I have ever had or tested - max suction is the only mode worthwhile). I found it works better to vacuum before mopping, rather than vac and mop at the same time, since the mop pad sticks out from the vacuum a bit so will get the hair wet and it sticks to the floor. As a counterpoint, I have a stick mop/vac combo from a well known brand that does not do as good of a job mopping or vacuuming as this robot on max suction, so I would still say the performance is great. Just don't expect the battey life to last too long, but it's not a problem for me because I run it overnight.
Overall though, no vacuum is going to be perfect, and this one checks so many more boxes for me than others. Robot vacuums should make your life easier, so if you want something you don't have to spend a lot of time fiddling with and maintaining, and does a fantastic job cleaning, the Mova V50 is a great choice. I would buy it again and may even get another one for my 2nd floor.

Crazy cat hair is no match for the V50!

I have six cats. I bought another robot vaccum brand and I used it for about 3 days. Every 15 minutes or so it would stop and I'd get an error message that I needed to clean the brush roll. Cat hair would be tangled on the brush roll from end to end. The V50 has been absolutely amazing with the cat hair. The obstacle avoidance and mopping are the icing on the cake!

Amazing in House with Lots of Furniture!!

I purchased the Mova V50 Ultra Complete in black for my parents. They have black tile floors in the kitchen, several white cats, and lots of furniture. The Mova V50 has saved them so much time cleaning everyday. With the black tile floors, white pet hair is very visible and the Mova is able to keep the floors clean every night. I have found that it takes some trial and error with different cleaning modes to get the clean I wanted, but once I did, it was great. For example, I have opted in to use less water on the black tile floors for mopping since using more water left streaks. I also prefer to run a vacuum cycle first to take up all the pet hair, and then run a vacuum + mop cycle right after for the best clean.

It's well packaged and included everything extra side brushes, mop pads, filters, dust bags, general cleaning solution.
Setup was easy and has been awesome. It took about 10 minutes to map. It's able to navigate underneath and between furniture with no issues. It does a great job of picking up dirt and mopping

Really impressive
on December 15, 2025

I was very excited to get my first intelligent robot vacuum (one that doesn't just go in a straight line until it bumps into something), so I put this vacuum right to work. It mapped my apartment out really quickly and really well. At first, it doesn't do the best cleaning, and I assume that's because it's still learning. But it's been two weeks now and I'm very impressed, I mostly have it run while I'm at work, but I haven't seen that it's really missed anything, so that's great in my book.
Obstacle avoidance is truly top tier. It's the main reason I chose this robot after many hours of research, and I'm not disappointed at all. I don't think it's even touched a cord or one of the many (small) cat toys lying around.
The app is great, very customizable with many different options. I actually have really enjoyed seeing it take pictures of obstacles and very accurately labeling what it is (it knows my bathroom scale is a bathroom scale, and my christmas tree skirt is a "fabric" to avoid, among other things). It also takes pictures of my cat, which I have absolutely loved. I haven't tried setting it to cruise to find him (yet!), but I have tried remotely controlling it myself and I would not recommend (very glitchy, though I understand that's not at all the point of the robot and more of a gimmicky feature for a little fun). I've seen it work around my cat, being very cautious not to get too close and to let him do his thing.
And of course it vacuums and mops well. I've set a schedule to mop the area by my front door three times a week, as that area can rather quickly get dirty in the winter with snow, salt, and the like. It's done great at keeping that area clean. It also mops the rest of the apartment, making sure to keep carpets dry.
The one hiccup I've run into is that it has closed the bathroom door, leaving my cat locked out of his litter box room. I imagine that it, for some reason, just kept driving into the door until it closed. I had to leave work to make sure my cat had access to his litter box. It has only done that the one time, though.
I don't think this one hiccup alone would justify the loss of one star, but I was promised a hair dryer with my purchase as part of a cyber Monday deal, and that never came. I chose to order off of Mova's site for this deal despite the slower shipping I knew Mova would have. I emailed support about it and never got a response. If I had known, I would have ordered off Amazon and gotten it much sooner (I'm a very want/need-it-now kind of person).
Also of note is that it was not able, like, at all, to vacuum my fluffy, high pile carpet. It would go on it about a foot, sit, and then bring out it's arms and boost itself up as if it were climbing up its maximum threshold. Then, it'd sit some more, turn around, climb again, and repeat the process until I told it to go home. Its ability to go over thresholds is truly impressive, just maybe not its ability to vacuum high pile carpets. Lucky for me, I needed a new carpet anyways.
To finish up, it's a great vacuum and mop and is, really, impressively intelligent. I just wish the website hadn't lied and/or support would reply to explain why I didn't get the cyber Monday deal.

It's a great robot. I've only been using it for three days, and everything is working perfectly. I hope it continues to perform just as well in the future.
